Xiao Zhao, MD, PhD, FRCSC
Xiao Zhao is a co-founder of XMK Therapeutics. He is a surgeon scientist whose clinical focus is in head and neck surgery and research focus is in strategies to modify skin inflammation. He completed his surgical training and PhD at the University of Toronto and his head and neck surgical oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. His specific research involves the study of pharmacologic and cellular therapy strategies to reduce skin inflammation.
Kenneth Yip, Ph.D.
Kenneth Yip is a co-founder of XMK Therapeutics. He has over 15 years of drug discovery and development experience as an active medical scientist. He also currently teaches (Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream) with the Department of Cell & Systems Biology at the University of Toronto. Kenneth Yip was previously part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Molecular Libraries Program (MLP) and Molecular Libraries Screening Centers Network (MLSCN) while serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Diego and completing his postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. John C. Reed.
